Welcome to Marilla Community Centre!

Come and make new friends, catch up with old ones, and learn new skills.

We run weekly programs and regular events to support our Defence members, our community members and we always welcome people who want to become part of the community.

We run School Holiday Events, Training Sessions, Fitness Groups, Playgroups, First aid Courses and Community Events.

We encourage those, who want to have a 'hands on' approach in your community, to join our friendly committee, and help shape the future of Marilla Community Centre and the services we provide.

We are located at the Rockingham Navy Club, and our aim is to connect people and bring about a sense of community to all new and current members.

Are you looking for a fun, child friendly and FREE fitness class? Well search no longer! Thanks to DMFS funding we are able to offer this fantastic FREE FITNESS CLASS to all Marilla Members and Defence Families. Every Monday morning during school term time we will have an experienced PT running a mix of Metafit, Bootcamp but always fun fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels, come on down and achieve the fitness goals you have always strived for! The classes are held outside but undercover so please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and sweat towel. All classes are child friend

TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL: Every week during school term time, we will be meeting at different venues each week (weather permitting) for some fun activities, games/sports and FREE Afternoon Tea for school aged children and their younger siblings. Come and let the children burn off some energy, play games and meet families in the area. Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times). We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied while you meet with other parents/carers in the area. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea. Free tea and coffee for parents. Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather.
